4
Happy Pickup
We’ll walk you through how it went and share simple ways to care for their coat between visits.
Sensitive to noise, scents, and unfamiliar dogs, cats need more than a quiet corner. In our private, dog-free room, they’re handled gently and patiently, always at their own pace.
Do you sedate cats?
Never. We rely on patience, a calm environment, and experienced feline handling instead of sedation. If your cat needs a break, we take ono, and if grooming isn’t comfortable, we’ll talk through the next step with you.
My cat has never been groomed—is that okay?
Absolutely. We give them time to settle and introduce each step gently. We follow your cat’s pace, take breaks as needed, and let you know if a shorter first visit would be kinder.
What if my cat is severely matted?
We’ll assess their coat gently before we begin. For tight or extensive matting, a shorter cut may be the kindest option, we won’t pull through painful knots. If we think veterinary care is safer, we’ll tell you before proceeding.
Why might there be additional fees?
Some visits need extra time or an extra set of hands. Fees may apply for temperament, excessive matting, fleas, or a second groomer. We’ll explain any add-on before we begin, no surprises.
How often should I have my cat groomed?
It depends on your cat’s coat, comfort, and needs. After their visit, we can suggest a gentle routine for brushing at home and when a bath, trim, or haircut might be helpful.
Do you groom senior or special-needs cats?
Yes, when a visit is comfortable and safe for them. Tell us about any mobility, health, or handling needs when booking so we can plan a slower appointment. If grooming is better handled by your veterinarian, we’ll say so.
A Softer Kind of Shine
